Ingrid Mielenz-Molderings has extensive clinical experience in mast cell diseases working as a study nurse in the area of diseases related to mast cell activation. She is a registered head nurse and qualified nursing manager in the field of internal medicine. She published a book chapter about nursing science in Germany.

Ingrid Mielenz-Molderings formally qualified to a nurse in 1980. She worked as a nurse first in the field of urology and internal medicine and became a head nurse in 1987. Ingrid worked then as qualified nursing manager until 2007, when she retired. Upon her retirement, she is dedicating all her time to the field of mast cell disease and also acting as study nurse for clinical studies in the area of mast cell disease.
